The shape and fit were exactly as pictured. I usually wear S or M for dresses, and this time went with M because the dress is A line and I was afraid the waistline would be tight. M turned out to be a good fit, and the material does have some give so it is comfortable. Unfortunately the dress was a little too bright/cool toned to flatter my olive skin color so I had to return it. I would recommend to people with cooler skin tones!
